About Me

Writer. Reader.

Currently I am a graduate student in the Book Publishing & Writing program at Portland State University. I hang out every day with people who love books and want to make a living out of that love. I want to be an editor, or just works at Powell’s for the rest of my life. My boyfriend loves books as much as I do and we argue about which ones are the best.

I’d call my home Mukilteo, WA (as that is where my parents live) but the place I think of as home is a little itty, bitty town in southwestern Germany called Weltersbach. I did my growing up there, along with some exploring.

I have a BA degree in Writing from Pacific Lutheran University, and an AA from Cottey College, where my focus was English Literature.

My dreams are to be a published author, travel every year, and be happy.
